Everything You Need to Know
About Upneeq®
Upneeq® is a once-daily prescription eye drop FDA-approved for the treatment of acquired ptosis (low-lying eyelids) in adults.
Acquired ptosis can cause one or both upper eyelids to sit lower than normal, which may affect appearance and, in some cases, interfere with the upper field of vision.
Upneeq works by stimulating one of the muscles responsible for elevating the upper eyelid. It is used as one drop in each affected eye once daily, as directed by your provider.
For appropriate patients, Upneeq offers a non-surgical treatment option for acquired ptosis.
What to Expect
Upneeq begins working relatively quickly after use. In clinical studies, eyelid lift was observed as early as 2 hours after the first dose, with some patients experiencing an effect sooner.
Your individual response may vary, and Upneeq should only be used according to the directions provided with your prescription.
Because acquired ptosis can have different underlying causes, our team will review your medical history and determine whether Upneeq is appropriate before dispensing your order.
Prescription Approval
Upneeq® is a prescription medication, so every Patient Appreciation Week order must be reviewed and approved before it can be dispensed.
After purchasing:
- Our team will review your order and confirm the information needed for prescription clearance.
- A provider will determine whether Upneeq is medically appropriate for you.
- Once approved, your prescription can be dispensed according to your purchase.
Your online purchase does not constitute a prescription or guarantee medical approval.
If our provider determines that Upneeq is not medically appropriate for you, our team will contact you regarding your order.
