Sculptra® (Face)

Sculptra® is an injectable poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) biostimulator designed to stimulate your body's natural collagen production and gradually restore the underlying support and structure of the face.

Rather than simply filling an individual line or adding immediate volume, Sculptra works progressively to improve facial volume, contour, firmness, and overall skin quality.

It may be used to address concerns such as:

• Age-related facial volume loss
• Hollowing or loss of facial support
• Changes in facial contour and structure
• Skin firmness and quality
• Overall facial rejuvenation

Because collagen production takes time, Sculptra results develop gradually over the weeks and months following treatment.

Treatment Time: Approximately 30–60 minutes

Traditional hyaluronic acid fillers are generally used to create more immediate volume, shape, or definition in specific areas.

Sculptra takes a different approach. Instead of focusing on immediate correction, it stimulates collagen production to gradually rebuild facial support and improve the appearance of volume loss over time.

This makes Sculptra particularly well suited for patients looking for progressive, natural-looking facial rejuvenation rather than an immediate filler-like result.

Your provider may also recommend combining Sculptra with other injectable treatments when appropriate to address different aspects of facial aging.

Sculptra is designed as a treatment series, and most patients require more than one session to achieve their desired correction.

Your provider will create a personalized plan based on your anatomy, existing volume loss, skin quality, age, and goals. The total number of vials and treatment sessions needed varies from patient to patient.

Treatments are typically spaced several weeks apart, allowing your provider to evaluate your progress as collagen production develops.

Once your initial series is complete, periodic maintenance treatments may be recommended to help support your results over time.
